The hotel is constantly making itself over. The most recent remodelling job was a renovation of the lobby, reception and café in spring 2003. In many ways, one of Bergen's oldest hotels is also one of its newest. We have been catering for satisfied guests since 1918 and have a central location in the heart of Bergen, the big city with a small-town charm.

Best Western Hotell Hordaheimen has a total of 88 rooms. On 01 October 2007 we open a brand new wing with 33 superior rooms. The new superior rooms provide extra comfort. Beds and furniture are from Ekornes, a well-known Norwegian company. The beds are Svane Zenit, and are probably the best beds in Bergen. All rooms have internet access.

Best Western Hotell Hordaheimen is centrally located in the city of Bergen. Located on the wharf, the hotel is 100 metres from the fast boat to Stavanger or the Sognefjord.
The railway station and bus station are 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Bergen airport Flesland is 24 km away from the centre of Bergen. There is a shuttle bus to the centre every 15 minutes and a taxi stop right outside the arrival hall.
