Stayokay Amsterdam Zeeburg has just opened its doors!
The new IYHF hostel is situated east of the centre in a typical Amsterdam neighbourhood. The city’s must see attractions are only a 15 minute cycle or tram trip away. Take a tour of the canals by boat, visit world famous museums or head off shopping along the colourful Kalverstraat. And there’s always plenty to do at the hostel in the evening.
Stayokay Amsterdam Zeeburg is housed in an amazing building, a former school dating from around 1900. This enables visitors to enjoy the ultra-modern facilities in classical settings. The hostel is ideally suited to accommodate (large) groups, providing access to various multifunctional areas within the building. Bedrooms are all spacious, featuring private sanitary facilities. Stayokay will have its own café/restaurant and will be sharing the building with a cinema and theatre for a unique entertainment combination.

All rooms are designed by the famous Dutch designer Edward van Vliet.
Rooms are available from 14:00 onwards. However, you are more than welcome to check in early (24/7), store your luggage in one of the lockers and start your day in Amsterdam.
Hostelling International members will receive an EUR 2.50 discount per person per night. If you arrive after 18:00 on the day of your arrival, the cost of the first night of your stay will be charged from your credit card.
Travel information
From Central station:
- Take bus number 22 and stop at Molukkenstraat.
- From here, you can walk to (6 minutes) or take tram number 14 and stop at Zeeburgerdijk.
- Walk for 150 metres or take subway 53 and stop Waterlooplein then take tram 14.
