This unique hotel is situated in North Limburg and was originally built in 1256. From 1937, this estate was used as a monastery.

In 2007, the hotel’s Hoef te Rode restaurant was again featured in the Lekker restaurant guide and is one of the best restaurants in the area. Restaurant Hoef te Rode is situated in De Wintertuin (Wintergarden), an impressive closed veranda adjacent to the castle.
If you feel like sitting in the sun and enjoying the delicious dishes, you can sit on the nice terrace with a splendid view on the castle pond and the forests.

From direction Nijmegen
- Take the A73 in direction Venlo
- Go on the N273 at exit Sevenum follow direction Maastricht/Venlo Zuid
- Go further on the N273 and follow direction Roermond
- Turn right after 5 km, on the intersection with the traffic lights.
- Go further on the N273 and enter the Bong and turn left on the second street
- Turn left at the ens of the street, before you enter the forest into the Raayerveldlaan, and you arrived at the destination
From direction Eindhoven
- Take the E34 in direction Venlo
- Take exit Helden and turn right after 4.5km.
- Turn left after 10 km, and follow direction Venlo
- Go straight on the N273 untill the intersection with traffic lights, turn left.
- Enter the Bong and follow the direction maasbree.
- Turn left on the second street Heiershod.
- turn left ad the end of the street before you enter the forest into the Raayerveldlaan. there you will arrive at the destionation.
From direction Maastricht
- Take the A2/E25 in direction Eindhoven/Amsterdam
- Take exit Grathem, turn right here and go traight on the N273
- Follow direction Venlo
- Go straight on (25km) until the intersection with the traffic lights
- Go right at the trafic lights and enter the Bong, follow direction Maasbree.
- Turn left at the second street, Heierhof.
- Turn left at the end of the Heierhof before enter the forest into the raayerveldlaand, there you will arrive at the destination.
