Or Gay Hotel Golden Bear has been welcoming its predominantly homosexual guests in the heart of Amsterdam since 1948. Our establishment is the first of its kind and located between 2 historical buildings from 1737. From 1. January 08 we are a strict non-smoking hotel.

For special periods like Queensday (30 April), Gay Pride (first weekend of August) and New Year's Eve, the hotel will charge your card for the equivalent of one night's stay at the moment of reservation. There will be no refund in the case of cancellation.

Area information

The hotel is situated in the very centre of Amsterdam and is close to all the gay bars, clubs and saunas.
The crew will be happy to give you any information you need during your stay
