All rooms are warmly and individually decorated with French, Italian and English antique furnishings. Rooms have comfortable double beds, spacious wardrobes and elegant writing desks, with panoramic views of vineyards and the surrounding bucolic Alban Hills.
There villa comprises of 9 rooms, including a luxury honeymoon tower suite with jacuzzi, perfect for a romantic getaway at the Villa, complete with room service.
Food & Beverage
Villa Germaine combines the finest Italian culinary traditions, based on healthy organic fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy products, including olive oil and award-winning wines. Among the hotel’s self-produced products: guests can enjoy robust Montepulciano red wine, fruit-flavored liqueurs, extra virgin olive oil, white cheeses, prosciutto ham, traditional tasty salamis’, sweet fruit jams, vegetables, free- range chicken, rabbit, pork and beef. These natural products are served fresh daily to guests in the hotel’s indoor and outdoor dining and meeting facilities.
The restaurant is open all week for guests. Lunch is served from 13:00, and dinner is available from 19:30.
Breakfast is available from 7:30 and is included in the room rate.
Area information
The Alban Hills are filled with charming villages which regained their ancient splendor during Renaissance times. This verdant and vibrant country paradise boasts a unique artistic and culinary tradition, the most famous town being Castel Gandolfo (papal summer residence). There is also Tivoli (water gardens and Hadrian’s Villa) Frascati (wine and food capital), Albano (home to Rome’s founders, Romulus and Remus), Nemi (temple of Diana), Rocca di Papa (site of the Via Sacra) and the Villa’s own town of Ariccia (home to the illustrious Chigi ducal estate). Many of these town centres were been remodeled by the great architect Bernini and host Rome’s famous wine and food festivals throughout the year.
Located along Via Nettunese (public highway to the sea), you can quickly reach warm Mediterranean waters at the popular Roman resorts of Nettuno and Anzio, internationally known for their excellent beaches, seafood, Roman ruins, British and American WW II museums and romantic boardwalks. Rome lies in the opposite direction and at a similar distance.
Both the sea and city can be reached easily by local commuter train services (30 minutes) and by car (45 minutes). The Villa offers free shuttle service to the local commuter train stations.

By Plane:
The closest international airport is Rome Ciampino (approximately 20 minutes). For car rental, bus, train or reliable taxi services from arrival destinations, please contact the hotel. For visits to Rome, the hotel offers a free shuttle service from and to the nearby Campoleone train station.
By Car:
From Rome’s Grande Raccordo Anulare (G.R.A. ring road):
- Take exit 23, Via Appia thoroughfare, in the direction of Aeroporto Ciampino-Albano.
- After approximately 5 km, you will arrive at the first traffic lights (for Marino’s Santa Maria delle Mole neighbourhood).
- Continue straight uphill along the Appia for another 1 km until you reach the second traffic lights (at Frattochie neighbourhood).
- At this point, turn right onto the Via Nettuenese.
- After exactly 13 km (indicated), you will find the sign for Villa Germaine – Vigna Sant’Elena.
- Turn right here and follow the road to the Villa’s gated entrance on the right-hand side.
By Train:
When departing from Rome’s Termini station, you can either take the fast Roma-Napoli train or the Roma-Nettuno train, checking that the specific departure stops at the Campo Leone station. Not all Roma-Napoli trains do. The hotel offers a free shuttle service from Campoleone train station.
