The hotel has a fantastic outdoor themed swimming pool with water slides and a whirlpool. The outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by a terrace and sun deck area with towels and sun loungers available for guests’ use free of charge. The hotel also has an indoor heated swimming pool, which is open between 16 September and 15 June.
Activities and games on offer include shuffleboard, giant chess, petanque, mini golf and padel tennis.
Club Delfin is a daily activity and entertainment programme for children aged between 4 and 12 years, and there is a separate Teen Club for children aged 12-18 years. These clubs operate at weekends and throughout the summer, from 1 June to 30 September. Club Delfin is not a day-care centre. A babysitting service is available on request at an additional cost. It is also possible to hire children’s buggies from the reception desk.
Complimentary Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available in all of the hotel’s public areas with wired internet also available (at an additional cost). The hotel has its own on-site shop, a hairdresser’s and an indoor car park for guests’ use (at an additional cost). There are also several impressive and well-equipped meeting and banquet rooms suitable for conferences, conventions, business meetings, celebrations and all kinds of event. The experienced, professional staff can help with every aspect of organising your event, including catering and special menus are available for events.
Guests can also take advantage of the excellent spa facilities of the Acquaplaya health and beauty centre. The centre has a water-jet circuit and also offers a variety of relaxing and therapeutic treatments and exclusive services, such as facial treatments, massage sessions, wine therapy, cocoa therapy, manicures, pedicures, makeovers and much more. All the rooms have a balcony/terrace. One child up to 14 years old can stay for free when sharing a room with: one adult in a single and 2 adults in a double.
Food & Beverage
The hotel’s own on-site buffet restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hotel guests can choose Breakfast Only, Half Board, Full Board and All-Inclusive packages at an additional cost, payable on arrival, directly to the hotel.
The restaurant offers a buffet breakfast every day, with a wide selection of fresh produce, and featuring show cooking. The lunch and dinner buffets consist of a variety of hot and cold dishes, including salads, appetisers, vegetables, meat and fish dishes.
The restaurant has a baby corner with complimentary facilities available for parents’ use. The baby corner has a microwave and a refrigerator for baby food.
The hotel also caters for Coeliacs, with a wide range of gluten and wheat-free products in association with COELIAC and FACE (the Spanish Federation of Associated Coeliacs). If you have special dietary needs and requirements, please contact the hotel prior to your arrival.
The opening hours of the restaurant do vary according to the season. Staff at reception can inform you of the current times that meals are available. Gentlemen must wear long trousers in the restaurant.
The hotel also boasts the La Najara saloon bar, the lobby bar and the snack bar in the swimming pool area, which is only open during peak season.
The All-Inclusive option includes full board with soft drinks, beer and wine included. From 08:00 to 00:00, most of the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on the menus of the various bars are included (subject to the individual closing times of each bar). In high season, between 11:00 and 14:00, free tapas is on offer either in the main bar or in the pool bar. In low season, between 15:30 and 17:30, complimentary coffee and cookies are available in the bar.
The All-Inclusive package does not include some types of drinks and some vintage wines on offer in the hotel. The hotel is situated just opposite to the maritime board walk and a short distance from Almuñecar's historical and monumental centre

The old town centre of Almuñecar is a historical, sightseeing and cultural treasure-trove, and enjoyed by all. The genuine heart of Almuñécar is located around the Castle of San Miguel, which inspired the name of this old quarter, "Castillo" or "San Miguel. Close to the hotel there is a good selection of shops, bars, restaurants and pubs.

From Málaga’s airport:
- Take the N340 towards Almería and drive for 80 km.
From Granada’s airport:
- Take the N323 towards Motril and drive for 70 km.
- Take the N340 towards Málaga.
- When you arrive in Almuñécar go to the beach towards ‘Paseo de la China’.
- Once there, go towards San Cristóbal Beach.
