The apartment complex itself was designed by the famous architect Kleihues. These apartments are great for short or long-term stays for tourists or business travellers, offering all the freedom, independence and convenience of an apartment with great rates.
In a quiet, central location, the apartments are conveniently situated close to the central train station. The historic Berlin wall is just 500 metres away and the Reichstag, Friedrichstrasse, Unter den Linden and the Brandenburg Gate are all just a short walk away.

Despite their central location, the apartments are quiet and peaceful. The apartments are situated between the historic Charité hospital, the Museum of Natural History and the Hamburger Bahnhof Museum for Contemporary Art.

Directly opposite the entrance to the apartments is the Italian restaurant Porta Nova, with an excellent menu and outstanding atmosphere.
Area information
Our apartments are centrally located with great transportation connections, while being located in a mostly quiet area.
A 5-minute walk followed by a few minutes on the tram brings you to the famous Hackeschen Markt with it's numerous beautiful courtyards, shops and art galleries, Museum Island with its unique collection and changing exhibits in the Altes Nationalgalerie, the Pergamon, as well as the Altes Museum and the newly opened Bodemuseum.
Also easily reached by foot or a 5-minute U-Bahn ride is the breathtaking boulevard of Unter Den Linden and the Brandenburg Tor which used to be right on the border of east and west Berlin.
Just over 2 km away is the Gendarmenmarkt (reached in 4 minutes by U-Bahn), which is one of the most impressive squares in Europe with the German and French Doms as well cafes and shops surrounding it.

By Car:
- Get onto the Strasse des 17. Juni travelling east.
- On Ebertstraße turn left, and after 200 metres turn right onto Dorotheenstrasse.
- After another 200 metres, turn left onto Wilhelmstrasse and continue along this street as it turns into Luisenstrasse.
- Turn right onto Robert-Koch-Platz and after approximately 100 metres you will arrive at Platz vor dem Neuen Tor 1 A/B where the apartments are.
From Schoenefeld Airport:
Take either the regional train heading to Nauen or the S-Bahn heading to Spandau. Transfer at Hauptbahnhof (central station) to the Bus 245 heading towards S Nordbahnhof. Get off at Invalidenpark and walk in the direction of the bus until you see the street Platz vor dem Neuen Tor on your right-hand side. The apartments are located at Platz vor dem Neuen Tor 1 A/B.
From Tegel Airport:
Get on the bus TXL heading towards Mollstr./Prenzlauer. Transfer at the Hauptbahnhof (central station) to the bus 245 heading towards S Nordbahnhof. Get off at Invalidenpark and walk in the direction of the bus until you see the street Platz vor dem Neuen Tor on your right-hand side. The apartments are located at Platz vor dem Neuen Tor 1 A/B.
From Hauptbahnhof (Central Station):
