From the South (Frankfurt via A3, Düsseldorf and Düsseldorf Airport International via A52):
- Motorway A52 (29) and follow this street straight on northbound into Essen.
From the West (Duisburg and southern Netherlands):
- Motorway A40 (23), after leaving the motorway in a 360 degree turn, the street crosses the railway and leads you to the Varnhorst-roundabout.
