The Harz mountains are located in the centre of Germany and contain the highest mountain peak in Germany, the Brocken (1,142 metres). The Alexisbad lake (325 metres above sea-level) is in the romantic Selke valley, and is one of the most charming valleys in the Harz area.
The hotel is set in an idyllic location, right on a forested slope. The Selke valley railway is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and from here you can explore the whole of the Harz mountains.
The hotel spa and leisure suite is very impressive and reflects a sense of lightness and elegance with its panoramic glass structure. This is the ideal location for the modern indoor swimming pool. This area features various saunas, a solarium and gym with fitness machines, treadmills and exercise bicycles.
