Our family managed hotel is centrally located right behind the Viennese city hall, in the “Josefstadt”, one of the nicest Viennese districts.
Every morning we offer our guests a rich breakfast buffet with warm and cold dishes and a separate bio-corner, to guarantee a good start to your day.
If you arrive by car you can choose to park in our in-house garage or several other facilities nearby.
Our staff can organize you tickets for the theatre, concerts or the opera. Furthermore we can help you setting up city tours of Vienna and its historic sights.

Located right in the middle of the famous Viennese sights like the „Hofburg“ with the worldwide known Spanish Horse riding School, the old university, the „Museumsquartier”, the Natural-historic and the Art-historic museums, you can easily enjoy the city per pedes.
If you are found of Vienna’s culture you will especially enjoy the location of our hotel that is in walking distance from the Opera, the „Volkstheater“, the „Burgtheater“ and the Theatre in the “Josefstadt”.
But you should also not miss the culinary enjoyments of the area. You will find a large variety of different international cuisines. Be it the typical Viennese restaurant, a gourmet restaurant, Italian, Spanish or a traditional Viennese “Heurigen” – all this you will find within walking distance from our hotel. Of course we would be more than happy to give you more information about those restaurants and book the tables for you.
Especially famous are the festivals at the “Rathausplatz” that are taken place almost throughout the year.
In summer the „Rathausplatz“ offers you an especially attractive program. The Open Air festival in July and August that Viennese as well as tourists enjoy offers you a broad, diverse culinary program and after sun set you can enjoy broadcasted operas, operettas, musicals and ballets on a big screen for free.
In autumn the „Styrian holidays“ let the “Rathausplatz” become a colorful commercial for the wonderful Austrian region „Styria“.
But one of Vienna’s most famous attractions you will find in winter, when the city hall with its amazing Christmas’ lighting is putting the traditional Viennese Christmas market into an impressing atmosphere and in January a wonderful ice-skating place is opened.

Arriving by car:
Western Highway (Germany, Salzburg, Linz)
From the highway A1 you get to direction CENTER. After the SCHÖNBRUNN PALACE, you reach the GÜRTEL. On the left side to direction GÜRTEL NORD. After 3,6km you reach UHLCHURCH, then please turn right to LAUDONGASSE. Follow LAUDONGASSE nearly to the end but before getting there, please turn right into LANGE GASSE and after 250m you reach our hotel at number 49.
Southern Highway (Italy, Graz)
From the higway A2 you get to direction CENTER. Further to TRIESTER STRASSE and after to GÜRTEL. Left side to direction GÜRTEL NORD. After 5,6km you reach UHLKIRCHE, right side to LAUDONGASSE. Follow LAUDONGASSE nearly to the end but before getting there, please turn right into LANGE GASSE and after 250m you reach our hotel at number 49.
Public Transport:
Western Train Station
Arriving by train at "Westbahhof" you take the metro U3 to "VOLKSTHEATER". Then switch to the metro number U2 and get off at the station called "RATHAUS". From there you only walk a couple of minutes until you arrive at "LANGE GASSE 49".
Southern Train Station
Arriving by train at "Suedbahnhof", you take the bus 13A and get off at station "PIARISTENGASSE", only a few minutes away from "LANGE GASSE 49".
Vienna International Airport
You take the shuttle bus to "Westbahnhof". (Tereafter refer to the directions "Westbahnhof".
