Aussee has been a meeting point for artists, musicians and writers for decades. Gustav Mahler, Johannes Brahms, Friedrich Torberg and many more spent their summer holidays in the gorgeous Ausseer region. Even today artists such as K.M. Brandauer, Elisabeth Trissenar have made Aussee to their second home.
