The Graben Hotel, as it appears today, has been established in 1918. It is quietly situated next to the pedestrian zone, the Graben, in the quarter of antique shops. It is surrounded by the famous shopping streets Graben, Kärntnerstraße and Kohlmarkt. Due to the special architecture all 41 rooms have an individual style and are mainly furnished in an Art Nouveau style.
There is also a business-centre at the hotel which is available to our guests around the clock. A public underground garage and subway are close by.

Restaurant "Trattoria Santo Stefano"
The offer of the rustic and cozy Trattoria reaches from homemade pasta and fresh fish to the traditional Pizza. The standard menu is enlarged by weekly specialities according to the season.
For businessmen in a hurry, we offer a 2- or 3-course businesslunch. Additionally, we open a garden in the quiet pedestrian zone in front of the Graben Hotel with 30 seats in the months from March until October.
Our meeting room "Altenberg" is perfectly adequate for parties or seminars from 10 to 45 persons. In this room we would love to serve traditional Viennese or Italian specialities for you.

Area information
Major tourist attractions include the imperial palaces of the Hofburg and Schönbrunn (also home to the world's oldest zoo, Tiergarten Schönbrunn) and the Riesenrad in the Prater. Cultural highlights include the Burgtheater, the Wiener Staatsoper, the Lipizzaner horses at the Spanish Riding School and the Vienna Boys' Choir, as well as excursions to Vienna's Heuriger districts.
There are also a number of art galleries, such as the Albertina, Belvedere, Museumsquartier, KunstHausWien and BA-CA Kunstforum. Vienna's many churches also draw large crowds, the most famous of which are St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Deutschordenskirche, the Jesuitenkirche, the Karlskirche, the Peterskirche, Maria am Gestade, the Minoritenkirche, the Ruprechtskirche, the Schottenkirche and the Votivkirche.
Modern attractions include the Hundertwasserhaus, the United Nations headquarters and the view from the Donauturm.

By car;
-Coming from the Westautobahn (A1), take the exit towards the city centre,
-Drive along Hietzinger Kai, Schönbrunnerstraße, Naschmarkt, Kärntnerstraße.
-Turn left into Philharmonikerstraße, turn right into the Tegetthoffstraße, Plankengasse.
- At the end of the Dorotheergasse you will see the Graben hotel.
Coming from the Airport (by public transport):
Either take the CAT- train or train No. S7 until the stop Landstrasse/Wien Mitte/City Air Terminal,
From there, take the underground U3 towards Ottakring and get off at the stop Stephansplatz.
